Privacy
Last updated 7 September 2026. Governed by UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the PDPL).
This page says what personal data this site collects, why, who else can see it, how long it is kept and how to have it deleted.
Who we are
Berger Solutions is a software studio in Dubai, UAE. We decide what happens to the data described here, which makes us its controller. For anything on this page, including a request to see or delete what we hold, write to [email protected]. One person reads that mailbox. We answer within 30 days, usually the same week.
What we collect
Five places, and that is the whole list.
The sign-up forms
The course waitlist and the checklist download use the same form. We store your first name, your email address, the date you joined and which form you used, so we know whether you asked for the course or for the checklist and do not send you the wrong one.
Asking for the checklist, or joining the course waitlist, also puts you on our email list. There is no tick box: the line directly above the button says so before you send the form, and sending it is how you agree. We record the moment you did.
What that list is, in full: occasional notes on what our audits turn up, and word when the course opens. A few times a year at most. We do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone else, and we do not send anything on behalf of a third party.
Every email we send carries a one-click link to stop, and stopping takes effect immediately with nothing to confirm. You can also write to us. Unsubscribing does not delete the record, it marks it as withdrawn and stamps when, so there is evidence you were removed; ask and we will delete it outright.
Booking a call
The booking form is provided by Cal.com. When you book, it receives your name, email address, time zone and anything you type into the booking questions, and we see the same. We use it to schedule the call and send you the meeting link. The basis is your consent and the steps needed to arrange something you asked for.
Emailing, calling or messaging us
We keep whatever you choose to send, including your contact details and anything you tell us about your business, so we can reply and keep a record of what was discussed if we end up working together. The basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Visiting the site
Our hosting provider sees and logs your IP address and standard request details in order to serve the pages and block abuse. We do not use those logs to build any profile of you. The basis is our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages get read. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device or browser, and does not follow you between sites or between visits. What we see is aggregate: how many people opened a page, roughly which country they were in, which browser they used, and how fast the page loaded. None of it identifies you and we cannot single you out in it. The basis is our legitimate interest in knowing whether the site works.
What we do not do
- We set no cookies of our own, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
- We run no advertising trackers or pixels.
- We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for their own marketing.
- We do not add you to any list because you emailed us. The waitlist is the only list and you have to ask for it.
- We do not profile you, score you, or make automated decisions about you.
Who else can see it
We run the site on other companies' infrastructure, so these handle some of it on our behalf, each bound by its agreement with us to process it only for the service it provides.
- Cloudflare hosts the site, stores the waitlist and provides the analytics, so it sees visitor IP addresses and holds the waitlist entries.
- Cal.com runs the booking form and receives the details you enter when you book a call.
- Google Workspace carries our email, so anything you send us is stored in that mailbox. It also supplies the calendar the booking checks for availability and generates the video-call link.
Data outside the UAE
Those services run outside the UAE, so your data may be stored or processed abroad. The PDPL permits this where the receiving country offers adequate protection or the provider is bound by appropriate contractual safeguards, which is the basis we rely on. We will also hand data over if the law or a competent authority requires it, and we will tell you if that happens unless we are forbidden from doing so.
How long we keep it
Waitlist entries are deleted automatically 24 months after you join, or immediately if you ask. Bookings and email stay while there is a reason to keep them: an active conversation, a live project, or a legal requirement to hold records. When the reason ends, so does the record.
Your rights
Under the PDPL you can do all of the following, free of charge, by writing to the address above.
- Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy.
- Have anything wrong corrected.
- Have it deleted.
- Withdraw your consent, or come off the waitlist, at any time.
- Ask us to restrict or stop a particular use of it.
- Ask for it in a portable format, to take it elsewhere.
- Complain to the UAE Data Office if you think we have handled it badly.
The fastest way to be removed from everything is to email [email protected] with the word "delete". You do not need to explain why, and we will not ask.
Children
Nothing here is aimed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If a child has sent us something, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change materially affects people already on the waitlist, we will say so in the one email we send.
